Brokers Future
Retail investors are beginning to take matters into their own hands after experiencing losses from the market downturn and being sickened by con artists like Bernie Madoff. "If I'm going to lose money, may as well do it myself for free," seems to be the mantra of investors fleeing their brokers. While it's true that good brokers provide a service to their clients, this profession needs to shape up if it wants to survive into the future.
